Synopsis

Suzuki Tetsuro, a medical scientist, has created an AI that diagnoses patients quickly and more accurately than human doctors. Gamo Shunpei, the CEO of an IT company that introduced AI diagnosis, argues that Japan should promote the use of AI in medicine to keep up with other countries.

 

However, the president of the medical association, Arizono Naoko, is hesitant about the use of AI, calling it a premature decision. Ueno Chizuo, a talented surgeon, is unhappy about operating on a patient diagnosed by AI. Suddenly, a patient whom Ueno operated on based on an AI diagnosis, deteriorated after surgery and died.
