Synopsis

Season 2. Comedy drama following a duo of detectives; veteran detective Tokita Shingo, who never does any work, and his partner, the charming young rookie Shiina Asobu. Though Tokita Shingo seems like a competent detective, in reality he’s a burden to the Metropolitan Police Department, completely detached from any prospects of promotion. He shows no motivation even at the scene of an investigation, often confusing others with his bizarre and cryptic remarks. However, despite all this, there’s something endearing about his deeply human character that makes him hard to dislike. On the other hand, Shiina is a young detective with a unique background, having switched careers from being a driving instructor to joining the police force. He is a good listener with a knack for charming people, so much so that even veteran detective Tokita finds himself revealing his true feelings. Thanks to Shiina, Tokita’s endearing incompetence only accelerates all the more.
