Synopsis

Iwata Koichi and Kagawa Midori are second-year students at Tozanzan High School. One day while walking home from school, they discover a shooting star rising up into the sky. Why would a shooting star go upward? The next day, Midori witnesses a glowing human figure at school, and ghost stories become the talk of the entire campus. Around this time, a boy named Yamazawa Norio suddenly appears. Norio claims to be the grandson of Ehara-san, who lives next door to Koichi, but strange incidents begin occurring frequently around him from the moment he arrives. Centered on the human relationships between the mysterious transfer student Norio, Koichi, and Midori, the story gradually reveals why he came to this world and what his true purpose is. This supernatural drama blends mystery with coming-of-age themes as ordinary high school students encounter extraordinary phenomena that challenge their understanding of reality. As the connection between the upward-flying shooting star and Norio’s appearance becomes clearer, the trio must navigate both typical teenage relationships and otherworldly mysteries that will forever change their perspective on what’s possible in their seemingly normal world.
