Synopsis

One day, a single anonymous tip arrives at the Metropolitan Police Personnel Division Section 1 (commonly known as “Jin-ichi”). The letter alleges that investigative information regarding special fraud crimes being pursued by Investigation Section 2 is being leaked by someone, with content suggesting the involvement of the supervising inspector commanding the investigation.

 

Sara (Matsuoka Masahiro), who has been assigned to Jin-ichi for two years, is called in by his superiors, Noma (Nakamura Toru) and Suga (Ikeda Tetsuhiro), and ordered to take command of uncovering the truth. Together with Minaguchi (Izumi Rika), who was assigned to Jin-ichi a year ago, squad leader Haranishi (Makita Sports), and newly transferred Mori (Hamanaka Bunichi), they begin surveillance operations to monitor the supervising inspector’s activities. From the inspector’s puzzling behavior, Sara develops a theory. However, during this time, investigation materials are leaked and spread online, escalating the situation to where Sara and his team find themselves in danger.
