Synopsis

Adapted from the literary work “Aruite, Taberu Tokyo no Oishii Meikenchiku Sanpo” by Kai Minori.

When her close friend from university, Horikawa Miwa, temporarily returns to Shiga due to family circumstances, Haruno Fuji agrees to house-sit at Miwa’s Osaka apartment and care for her pet turtle. This arrangement works well for Fuji, who needs to use up her accumulated paid leave from work.

While staying in Osaka, Fuji discovers through social media that Uekusa Chiaki is continuing her “Maiden Architecture” tour in the Kansai region. After informing Chiaki of her presence in Osaka, they arrange to meet for lunch at the Cotton Industry Hall, renowned as one of “Osaka’s Architectural Masterpieces.”

Chiaki, who spent her university years in Kyoto, has been exploring Osaka’s notable architectural works since then. Their reunion promises to combine Fuji’s temporary stay in Osaka with Chiaki’s architectural passion, setting the stage for unexpected discoveries in the vibrant city.
