Synopsis

Joe, whose real name is Yabukihara Jo (Nakamaru Yuichi), is a massage therapist working at the massage parlor “Hogusu-do” run by Eco-baba (Baisho Mitsuko). Eco-baba, who has recognized Joe’s natural massage abilities, sends him out as a mobile specialist to various clients, but for Joe, who is misanthropic and somewhat socially awkward, these are agonizing days.

 

Even so, Joe makes efforts in his own way to change his weak self… However, for some reason, he gets caught up in strange murder cases at every outcall destination, and each time he demonstrates unexpected talents. Joe develops brilliant deductions that make you want to spontaneously retort, “You can tell that much from a massage?”

 

Along with the eccentric detective Kanaishi (Ozawa Yukiyoshi), Kanaishi’s subordinate, who is straightforward and serious, Kato (Wada Masato), and his colleague, rookie massage therapist Akuri (Koshiba Fuka), he uses his outstanding massage techniques and observational skills to solve the mysteries of cases. His signature line is “The key point of the case is here!”
