Synopsis

Kujo Ruri (played by Kuriyama Chiaki) is a skilled thirty-something editor at a digital comics publisher. While her perfect appearance and demeanor lead others to assume she’s experienced in love, she’s actually a complete novice, with her only relationship being a brief boyfriend during college 15 years ago.

 

Mamiya Ryo (played by Koseki Yuta), her seemingly perfect junior colleague, suddenly invites her for drinks and asks for dating advice. When Ryo confesses that none of his relationships last more than three months, Ruri confidently replies, “You just haven’t met the right person yet” – knowledge she’s gleaned entirely from reading shoujo manga!

 

However, when Ruri wakes up the next morning after drinking too much, she finds Ryo lying next to her! While her mind goes into panic mode, she ends up becoming Ryo’s love coach! With advice from her brother Kota (played by Kusakawa Takuya), she struggles to give dating guidance. But as Ryo increasingly embodies her ideal boyfriend, she can’t help but feel her heart flutter for the first time in 15 years!
