Synopsis

A juvenile detention center in Tokyo receives Hayakawa Ai (played by Hirosue Ryoko), a young girl arrested for assault. Inside the center, various troubled girls await their juvenile court hearings. Ai remains silent, refuses meals, and shows defiance toward the staff.

Ariake (played by Mikami Hiroshi) works as a staff member at this facility while carrying his own emotional burdens. In this isolated world of the detention center, Ariake and Ai’s paths cross. As Ariake attempts to break through Ai’s emotional walls, he finds himself drawn to her, while Ai begins to discover a new side of herself through their interactions.
