Synopsis

The story follows Taichi Sora, who passed Japan’s bar examination on his first attempt but failed to secure a single job offer. Because his stutter becomes significantly worse under stress and pressure, he struggles badly in interviews and cannot even say his own name. With his job prospects exhausted, Sora eventually finds himself at a small, unconventional law office unlike any other.

The firm has only two members: Hoshi Hideyuki, a lawyer with a perfect win rate whose motto is, “Never fight a case you can’t win,” and Yukimura Asumi, the firm’s director, who for some reason avoids appearing in court and instead devotes herself to nonprofit advocacy work regardless of financial gain.

The cases they take on are some of the most difficult, exposing the dark underbelly of modern society. However, Taichi Sora possesses a unique advantage: when he speaks to the rhythm of rap music, his stutter disappears, allowing him to express himself freely and say exactly what he wants.
