Synopsis

Branded by society as a “corrupt lawyer,” Kujo firmly believes that “a lawyer should have no ideology or creed” and that “defending the client is a lawyer’s mission.” Guided by this conviction, he defends his clients – even those considered unforgivable criminals. Young elite lawyer and University of Tokyo graduate, Karasuma Shinji, joins Kujo as a live-in apprentice lawyer. Together, the two confront the fine line between law and morality, each guided by their own sense of justice.
