Set in a parallel-world version of Japan, Kokumin Quiz centers on a government-run quiz show designated by the Japanese Constitution as the nation’s supreme governing body. Participants who win the quiz can have any wish granted by the government. However, this ultimate death game comes with a steep price: losing results in penalties proportionate to one’s desires, ranging from heavy fines to brutal forced labor or even conscription.

The quiz show’s charismatic host, K-i K-ichi captivates the audience with his dynamic performance, pulling them into a frenzy. When a secret organization aiming to bring down Kokumin Quiz makes contact with K-i K-ichi chaos erupts, marking the beginning of a wild and unpredictable showdown!
