Synopsis

The popular BL manga “Kiss wa Sousa no Ate de” has been adapted into a live action drama!
 
Set in the police station of a quiet rural town, the story follows Takoi, a 38-year-old unmarried detective born in the Showa era who is known for his kindness and old-fashioned sense of compassion. In contrast, his 28-year-old elite junior colleague, Shiono, is inexplicably cold toward him, constantly greeting him with sarcastic remarks and sharp criticism. When Takoi suddenly receives a marriage arrangement proposal, Shiono’s frustration only intensifies. “Why do you always pick a fight with me?” Takoi asks, only for Shiono to reply provocatively, “Why do you think?” Then, a major incident unfolds inside a locked interrogation room…
 
As these awkward adults struggle to express their true feelings, misunderstandings and unexpected romance collide in a heart-fluttering love story.
