Synopsis
Co-produced by TV Tokyo and Netflix, this 2023 remake of the popular manga series will be distributed “worldwide”* from March 2023. The original story follows high school student Kuronuma Sawako, who is nicknamed “Sadako” and isolated by her classmates due to her plain and gloomy appearance. Despite rumors circulating around the school, she is approached by Kazehaya Shouta, one of the most popular boys in the school. Through her interactions with Kazehaya, Sawako gradually manages to open up to her classmates. As she lives her dream high school life, her feelings toward Kazehaya begin to change…? *regions tbc
