Synopsis

In a luxury hotel room, skilled editor Takanaka Mayuko tenderly wipes the body of a beautiful young man. The youth with whom she secretly meets is Naomi, the son of her best friend, Asakura Yuri, and Sawamura Ryoichi, Mayuko’s first love. It was none other than Mayuko who named him “Naomi.” No one knew the feelings, the schemes, hidden behind that name. About 30 years ago, 13-year-old Mayuko lived happily with her editor father Shogo, mother Miya, and aspiring writer Ryoichi, who lived in their detached house. However, when Yuri, a girl of the same age, moved in next door, the gears of Mayuko’s life began to slowly go awry. Mayuko found her precious things stolen away by Yuri, who wanted everything. Eventually, when they became working adults, one winter day, Yuri’s sudden confession that “I’m pregnant with Ryoichi’s child” marked the beginning of Mayuko’s revenge that would span 20 years.
