Synopsis

Ohno stars as Enomoto Kei, an employee at a major security company who is far from your typical corporate worker. This enigmatic man spends his days in a dimly lit storage room deep within the company’s headquarters, completely absorbed in security research, particularly locks and security systems. He’s what you might call a “crime prevention otaku.”

Enomoto possesses a cool, calm demeanor that makes him difficult to approach, with an intimidating appearance that keeps people at a distance. His expertise extends far beyond security equipment and locks – he has deep knowledge of physics, chemistry, architecture, and various fundamental theories. This maniacal expert confidently believes that “there is no lock in this world that cannot be broken.”

Through a twist of fate, Enomoto finds himself asked to solve locked-room murder mysteries. While he has absolutely no interest in solving murders, his entire demeanor changes the moment he hears the keyword “locked room”…

Though his emotionless, matter-of-fact speaking style can seem eerie, Enomoto uses his vast knowledge, sharp insight, and incredible powers of concentration to find the key to solving seemingly perfect crimes by breaking through impossible locked rooms.
