Synopsis

Naho works as the deputy curator of the art gallery established by her grandfather, who is an avid art collector. Naho’s husband is the managing director at a different art gallery in Ginza which has family has run for many generations. To move away from the hectic pace of Tokyo, a pregnant Naho leaves to go and live in Kyoto. There she becomes fascinated with a painting by an unknown painter who goes by the name of “Aoba.” She is actually Shirane Itsuki, a disciple of the famous artist Shimura Teruyama but has been deprived of her freedom for many years and as a result has lost her ability to speak. While following Itsuki’s arts, she discovers an unexpected truth.
