Synopsis

The story follows a protagonist who has always believed that “It’s not what’s on the outside that counts, it’s what’s on the inside!” but begins to rethink the importance of appearance after stepping into the world of fashion magazines.
Ishiguro Yamato, who spent all of middle school, high school, and university devoted solely to baseball, is neither handsome nor stylish. He has survived up to now by leaning entirely on the one “character” people expect from him.
He even had a kind, supportive girlfriend, and on a whim he managed to pass the publisher’s recruitment exam. Fired up to become an editor for a sports magazine, he joins the company, only for the magazine to shut down as soon as he arrives. Assigned instead to the fashion magazine editorial team, he gradually starts to realize just how important appearance can be.
