Synopsis

Medical intern Togano Makoto begins training at the forensic medicine department upon recommendation from her respected internal medicine professor, Tsukuba. However, forensic medicine professor Mitsuzaki Tojiro dismisses her and leaves abruptly.

 

While alone in the office, Makoto receives a phone call from a young girl asking, “Is this where they perform autopsies?” The girl requests an autopsy for a woman who died in a car accident caused by her father, believing in his innocence.

 

Detective Kotegawa Kazuya approaches Mitsuzaki to request the autopsy on behalf of the girl. Despite police ruling that “no autopsy is necessary,” Mitsuzaki proceeds with the examination, seemingly disregarding the family’s feelings.

 

Although Makoto initially disapproves of Mitsuzaki’s methods, she becomes captivated by the truth revealed through his brilliant forensic skills. Thus begins a breathtaking, thrilling mystery drama that unfolds without a moment’s respite!
