Synopsis

Kojima Akane (played by Matsumoto Honoka) works at a stationery manufacturing company while harboring a secret passion: she’s an avid Boys’ Love (BL) fan who sees BL potential in everything around her. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers the nationally acclaimed fighting manga “Grappler Baki,” where she becomes captivated by the fighters’ physiques and interprets their interactions through a BL lens.

Rather than focusing on fighting techniques or power rankings, Kojima spends her days imagining romantic pairings between the characters, particularly those involving the protagonist Hanma Baki. She maintains a perfect work-life balance: professionally composed at the office while secretly indulging in her BL fantasies at night with fellow fujoshi friends Ishida Miharu (Shimada Momoe) and Imasato Chiko (Hoshi Moeka) at local izakayas.

Her peaceful double life begins to unravel when three men enter her world: Takeno Kohei (Okayama Amane), her junior colleague preparing for an important presentation; Kajiwara Noboru (Iwasaki Udai), her supervisor; and Shibamoto Daiju (Kamio Fuju), former classmate who unexpectedly reappears in her life.
