Synopsis

In her first leading role in a commercial TV drama series for Fuji Television, Dan Rei takes on the character of an eccentric police inspector – a departure from her usual roles of enduring women, marking her first time playing a detective who persistently pursues suspects.

Inagaki Goro plays the role of a rigid police inspector who clashes with Dan’s unconventional character, creating an intriguing dynamic in their first on-screen pairing.

Fukuie (played by Dan) is a complete outsider with exceptional deductive abilities, often finding case-solving clues that others miss. Her trademark is persistently asking “Just one more thing…” – refusing to back down even against superiors’ orders.

Ishimatsu (played by Inagaki) is her complete opposite – a by-the-book inspector whose pride is constantly wounded by Fukuie, his subordinate who ignores his orders yet somehow always gets results. However, he cleverly lets her continue as her achievements ultimately reflect well on him too.

Fukuie’s only ally is Nioka (played by Emoto Tokio), a junior forensics officer who somehow ends up helping her with various tasks. This marks Emoto’s first regular role in a Fuji TV drama series.

The show takes on the “inverted detective story” format, similar to “Columbo,” where viewers witness the crime and perpetrator at the beginning of each episode. Each episode features distinctive and formidable criminals, promising intense confrontations between strong personalities in this masterful mystery series.
