Synopsis
Miniseries that stars Nagasawa Masami as a woman working at her family’s antique shop. One day, a man shows up at the store with a mysterious camera that has the power to reveal a person’s future worth.
Episode 1: “Valuation Camera”
Directed by acclaimed CM creator Yanai Michihiko and starring Nagasawa Masami in the role of Takeko, photographer wannabe, pondering about the value of her husbands-to-be.
Episode 2: “Her Time Machine”
Director Miki Takahiro (of “Solanin” and “Bokura ga ita” fame) here shows us the story of Hiroko (Tabata Tomoko), science magazine editor, reunited with her college days friend, Haruka (cute as always Mimura) for an interview. While Hiroko succesfully graduated her school days self, Haruko is still hung up with her dream to create a time machine – and possibly she may be quite close to achieving it.
Episode 3: “Bonhomme – Mr.Absolute”
A veteran actor (Kunimura Jun) works on the set of Fujiko F. Fujio drama. No matter what happenes around, he’s calm and optimistic. One day, over a drink, he shares his motives with his two sidekicks – a rookie actor and a make-up artist.
Episode 4: “Cute-kun”
A not-so-cute journalist (Honda Chikara) and a cute-but-scary dentist (Asou Kumiko). The beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or so they say… With a funny cameo from Kaname Jun.
Episode 5: “Earth Invasion Theory”
What if somewhere out there was a bunch of aliens debating whether they should destroy Earth..? What if their decision was determined by the results of a pretty shallow research conducted on one member of the human species (Tanimura Mitsuki). Fujiko F. Fujio will tell us in this funny episode.
Episode 6: “Our Republic”
During their summer holidays, a group of primary school friends decides to create their own country – the country of compassion. Are they really able to achieve this? And how are they going to manage, threaten by cruel Junior High boys? Suddenly, Fuuko (Hinata Manami) learnes that she is going to move to USA…
