Synopsis

On her 16th birthday, Koike Kiyomi finds herself overwhelmed with mixed emotions of anxiety and joy. When she suddenly blurts out “What does it mean to be a woman?”, a mysterious DJ’s voice begins echoing. “This is Lady’s Song! Radio FM999, starting now!” announces the DJ, who claims to select and deliver songs specifically tailored to address Kiyomi’s concerns.

As Kiyomi closes her eyes, she journeys through these musical worlds, encountering various women who teach her important life lessons, leading her through periods of internal conflict and growth. One afternoon, while staying behind in her classroom, Kiyomi feels frustrated about her future – college entrance exams, career paths, and navigating a male-dominated society. When she once again mutters, “What does it mean to be a woman?”, the DJ’s voice returns, and “FM999” begins broadcasting in her mind.

Upon returning to reality, she encounters Shinkai-senpai in the classroom – a meeting that will significantly influence her future path.
