Synopsis

Season 2.

Tokyo governor Yokomiya Saburo’s wife Hiroko is attacked by someone and ends up unconscious. Newspaper journalist Watanabe Tatsuya was found at the scene and is subsequently arrested and charged for attempted murder. It seems there is a hint of a connection between public prosecutor Sasaki Yukino, who is gunning for Watanabe, and Sugitani Nahoko, the lawyer who takes his case on. This is the same person who had Shitara Kenichi put behind bars. Will Kenichi be able to save Watanabe from being falsely charged amid the various accusations from people in power who wish to have him convicted ahead of the next governor’s race.
