Enka: Gold Rush

Synopsis

Kumagai is an art instructor at a private female high school in Osaka. Sakai, the chairman of the school’s board, runs the school like its his own property and Kumagai is paid a measly salary. He is then approached by Music Teacher Nahoko and P.E Teacher Oyamada to join them in a scheme to blackmail Sakai with proof of his wrongdoings. Although Kumagai is at first reluctant, he decides to jump on board as he has debts to pay off. However, things don’t go as planned when Sakai and his girlfriend Akemi go missing. It is presumed the duo are kidnapped by Minowa and Nakao, two of the school’s education consultants. Meanwhile, Kumagai and Naoko get themselves involved in a scheme to steal large amounts of gold bars which had been hidden by Sakai.
