Enjiya

Synopsis

Tomoki loses his job and fiance due to a false accusation of sexual harrassment. He is suicidal, and standing on the ledge of a rooftop building, when he sees a woman running towards him screaming. She is being attacked by a man with a knife. Tomoki intervenes and ends up getting stabbed, but discovers the attack was a staged event and he is unharmed. He learns that this kind of staged event is called “enjiya”, which is a staged revenge plan that takes place upon a client’s request. Tomoki decides to hire Aika in order to take his own revenge on those who falsely accused him.
