Synopsis

Screenwriter Takato Natsu lives quietly with her husband Shogo in the suburbs of Saitama City. Shogo, a former television director turned househusband, tends to their home garden while supporting Natsu’s career. Although Natsu should be content with her current lifestyle, she feels an uncontrollable desire stirring within her.

 

One day, Natsu sends a candid email confession about her feelings to stage director Shizawa Ichirota, who responds by inviting her to a secret meeting. After much hesitation, Natsu begins a series of clandestine encounters with Shizawa. During this period, Natsu grows increasingly irritated with Shogo’s tendency to interfere with her scriptwriting work, leading to an inevitable argument between the couple. Realizing that Shogo is trying to control her, Natsu leaves home and begins living alone in Tokyo.

 

Around this time, Shizawa starts avoiding Natsu. In an ironic twist of fate, Natsu reunites with her university senior, Iwai Ryosuke, a married man with children, at a talk show where she appears as a guest. The two develop a romantic relationship. Additionally, Natsu finds herself drawn to rising actor Obayashi Kazuya, whom she recently met.
