Synopsis

At TV Tokyo, new production assistant Tsuneta Riku (Murakami Nijiro) is assigned to the “Unverified Materials Center,” a department responsible for organizing program footage discovered during the station’s 2016 relocation. There, he works alongside fellow director Nikaido Saori (Hayami Akari) and veteran director Sayama Satoru (Tanaka Tetsushi).

While spending his days organizing VTR tapes – far from his ideal job – Riku discovers footage containing paranormal phenomena that shouldn’t have been captured on camera. His senior director Saori, frustrated with the mundane task of sorting discarded tapes, decides to pursue these supernatural occurrences and create an unauthorized program. Though hesitant, Riku finds himself drawn into investigating these paranormal events under Saori’s forceful leadership.
