Synopsis

Based on Kawaguchi Kaigi’s political military manga, this live-action series is a great accompaniment to the live-action movie.
 
The first half of the series (episodes 1-4) will include unreleased scenes that were not present in the theatrical version, and focuses on more characters from the film’s story. The second half of the series is a continuation following on from the events of the live-action movie, which depicts the naval battle off the coast of Okinawa, and the climax of the great Naval Battle off the coast of Tokyo Bay.
