Synopsis

Koizumi Kotaro makes his lead drama debut as Arihara Shuhei, a doctor who abandons his brilliant career at a Tokyo university hospital to save his family’s hospital. His character is so passionate he’s sometimes called a “runaway express.”

The impressive cast includes:
– Takashima Masanobu as Kurashima Ryosuke, a serious-minded deputy manager at Shinkai Bank who partners with Shuhei on hospital reforms
– Konishi Manami in her first TV Tokyo drama role as Arihara Shiho, Shuhei’s wife and editorial designer
– Asada Miyoko as Hyodo Etsuko, the hospital’s nursing director
– Nakamura Masatoshi as Yoneda Masamitsu, the deputy president of Shinkai Bank

The script is written by Yamamoto Mutsumi, known for acclaimed works like “A de wa Nai Kimi to,” “Kounodori,” and the serial novel drama “Gegege no Nyobo.”
