Synopsis

Kawashima Midori (played by Imai Miki) is a 35-year-old single press chief working for the fashion brand “Dion.” The silk blouse her late mother cherished has retained its beauty even after many years, teaching Midori to value objects and pass down their stories, and to recognize the importance of the brand. Because she takes pride in her work, she feels resistance toward young people who wear clothes simply because they are brand-name, and she continually strives to seek the true essence of brands. Kanzaki Koichiro (played by Matsumoto Koshiro), 25, appears as a mid-career hire joining as a new employee. He is the only son of a tea ceremony master. At first, they clash frequently, but as Midori grows to respect his strength in accepting his own fate, she gradually overcomes the difference between boss and subordinate and finds herself increasingly drawn to him.
