Synopsis

Sasaki Sachiko is a literary magazine editor known as the “Iron Lady” for her perfectionism at work. On her wedding day, her groom, Shungo, mysteriously disappears, leaving her wondering, “Why? Why did Shungo vanish from my life…?”

Sachiko discovers a unique coping mechanism: the concept of “Boukyaku” (Forgetting) – a sublime state of culinary bliss achieved by completely immersing oneself in delicious food. She realizes that enjoying exquisite cuisine might help her forget Shungo, and thus begins her journey down the path of culinary forgetfulness.

As Sachiko explores numerous mouthwatering dishes, she encounters eccentric writers and must deal with the arrival of a new-generation employee, Kobayashi Shinichi, who innocently drives his seniors crazy. Sachiko finds herself running around, pulled in different directions by these colorful new characters!

The situation becomes even more complicated when the runaway Shungo suddenly reappears in Sachiko’s life, causing memories to run wild in her mind! This fresh sensory gourmet comedy drama finally begins – filled with laughter, tears, food, and the art of “forgetting”!
