Synopsis

Struggling manga artist Fujinuma Satoru (Furukawa Yuki) is plagued by a mysterious phenomenon called “Revival” – a time-reversal event that keeps repeating until the cause of something “bad” is prevented. One day, Fujinuma returns home to find his mother Fujinuma Sachiko murdered. While pursuing the killer, he becomes falsely implicated as the prime suspect in his mother’s death. Desperately wishing for a Revival to prevent his mother’s murder, Fujinuma is suddenly sent back 18 years to when he was in fifth grade. This was just before his classmate Hinazuki Kayo was murdered. Convinced that the serial child killings from that era, including Hinazuki’s case, are connected to his mother’s future murder, Fujinuma enlists the help of his classmates and his teacher to save Hinazuki while investigating the truth behind these mysterious crimes.
