Synopsis

The story follows Hoshino Midori, who has become exhausted by her hectic days working at a beauty clinic. When the clinic suddenly goes bankrupt, leaving her unemployed, her older brother, Konta, suggests she take a “vacation from life” at the seaside villa their late grandmother left behind.
 
Upon arriving at the villa, Midori is welcomed by breathtaking ocean views, a garden overflowing with ripe summer oranges, and a chance encounter with the villa’s enigmatic caretaker, Nishigami. Possessing an almost otherworldly aura, Nishigami helps Midori embrace the joys of her idyllic vacation. Yet behind his gentle gaze lingers a quiet sadness, hinting at a painful secret hidden beneath the surface.
