Synopsis

Set in 1979, this drama follows the story of four sisters whose conflicts and secrets begin to unravel when their elderly father becomes involved with a mistress. Miyazawa Rie plays Tsunako, the eldest sister who makes her living as an ikebana (flower arrangement) instructor after losing her husband. Ono Machiko portrays Makiko, the second sister who is a full-time housewife living with her salaryman husband and children. Aoi Yu plays Takiko, the third sister who works as a librarian and is awkward in romance, while Hirose Suzu takes on the role of Sakiko, the youngest sister who works as a café waitress and lives with an aspiring boxer.
