Synopsis

Based on the manga of the same name, this office romance drama follows the story of Tojo Suzume (Kazama Shunsuke), a worn-out boss approaching the age of 40. Having spent over a decade without a romantic partner and living a monotonous routine of commuting between home and work, Suzume begins to feel a growing sense of urgency at this turning point in life. This leads to him creating a “10 Things to Do Before 40” list, which includes goals like “host a takoyaki party,” “change my fashion style,” and “find a romantic partner.” However, the list is accidentally seen by his colleague, Tanaka Keishi (Shoji Kohei). At his suggestion, the two start tackling the list together—transforming Suzume’s dull, repetitive days into a series of joyful moments shared with someone special.
