Synopsis

This work is a romantic comedy about marriage and matchmaking, exploring the theme “Is love necessary for marriage?” while depicting various forms of love.
 
Anxious about marriage as she approaches her thirties, Haruka unexpectedly runs into her colleague Kazuki at a matchmaking party. Kazuki, who had lied on his profile and joined the event with the intention of playing around, makes fun of Haruka, saying that the reason she can’t get married is because she’s basing all on romance. After a series of repeated failures, Haruka follows Kazuki’s advice and abandons romance in pursuit of marriage..
 
Mizuki, who wants to buy a house through a sugar daddy arrangement; Takeshi, who is marriage hunting just to please his mother; Yuto, who is so serious he’s clueless when it comes to women; Noa, a high school girl skilled in romance; and same-sex couple Hiromi, who wants a wedding, and Takumi, who doesn’t – eight people who are trying to find happiness by abandoning romance and ironically end up falling for partners who are unsuitable for love.
