Synopsis

Based on the novel by Somei Tamehito.

The protagonist (Yokohama Ryusei), wanted criminal Kaburagi, flees across Japan for 448 days, repeatedly hiding and disguising himself.
Yoshioka Riho takes on the role of Sayaka, a freelance writer in Tokyo who helps shelter him when he is homeless and lives with him, believing that he is an innocent man. Kazuya (Morimoto Shintaro), is a laborer working on a construction site in Osaka who becomes friends with him, but secretly suspects him. Mai (Yamada Anna) meets Kaburagi at a care facility in Nagano, and ends up falling for him. Yamada Takayuki tales on the role of Detective Matanuki, who pursues Kaburagi across Japan.

However, the Kaburagi they each meet is a completely different person. What is Kaburagi’s true identity and is he a dangerous criminal or an innocent man?
