About the Group

The fifth Johnny’s group to debut as special supporters for the FIVB World Cup Volleyball, Sexy Zone was announced on September 29th, 2011, with the group debuting a month later. Comprised of Nakajima Kento, Kikuchi Fuma, Sato Shori, Matsushima So, and Marius Yo, the group only had an average age of 14 when they debuted.

In 2013, Matsushima So and Marius Yo were temporarily removed from the group, as So was in high school and Marius was removed to balance the group formation. They both rejoined the group in 2015 when so enrolled in a high school in Tokyo.

In 2018, So halted activities due to panic disorder. He resumed activities in 2020. Marius went on hiatus at the end of 2020, and in December 2022, announced that he would be leaving the group and retiring from the entertainment industry.

In 2024, Nakajima Kento graduated from the group, and the group renamed itself timelesz. They also opened recruitment for new members.
