About the Group
HiHi Jets is a Johnny’s Jr. group from the Kanto region.
Announced in 2015 as HiHi JET, the five original members were Hashimoto Ryo, Inoue Mizuki, Haba Yuki, Igari Soya, and Iwasaki Taisho. Taisho would be moved to Classmate J before ever performing, and the four would form the new roller skating unit, with their initials becoming the first part of the group name.
In 2016, four members were added to the group – Takahashi Yuto (from Classmate J), Sakuma Ryuto, Igarashi Reo, and Ukisho Hidaka (both from Classmate J), and the name was changed to HiHi Jets. By the end of 2016, the unit had been reduced back to 4 members and renamed back to HiHi Jet. Hashimoto, Inoue, and Igari stayed with the group, now joined with Takahashi Yuto, with the other four being removed.
In 2018, the group would be renamed HiHi Jets once again, with Sakuma rejoining the group. The five-membered group is the current (and permanent) group formation.
In 2024, Yuto left. In 2025, the group was disbanded as part of the Tokyo Juniors reconfigurement.
