Shortly afterwards, the phone at the police department rings. A man on the other end of the call states that he kidnapped 4 men. The female high school student’s father is among the 4 men kidnapped.

Detective Mochizuki, who was kidnapped as a child, continues to receive regular psychiatric treatment from Dr. Tachibana on her recommendation. One day, a disturbing doll arrives at the Metropolitan Police Department. The doll’s arm bears the same burn mark that was inflicted on Mochizuki by her kidnapper 20 years ago, accompanied by a message reading “Saikai wo Nozomu” (Wishing for Reunion).
Is this a sign that her kidnapper from two decades ago wants to meet her, or is it a declaration of resumed kidnapping activities?
