Synopsis

Powerful directorial debut from the prolific and highly respected commercial photographer Ueda Yoshihiko, who developed the project over a 15-year period and served as scriptwriter and cinematographer. Drama that interweaves a year in the lives of people who visit a house resplendent with camellia blossoms and the grandmother and granddaughter who live there.
Kinuko (Fuji Sumiko) lives with her granddaughter Nagisa (Shim Eun-kyung) in the house where she once resided with her husband and child. She spends her days cherishing the past while enjoying the seasons through the colorful flowers blossoming in the garden. Then, the telephone rings.
