Born in Tokyo. She grew up at Seijo Gakuen from kindergarten to university.

Debuted in July 1985 during his third year of high school with the song “September Monogatari” (lyrics: Takashi Matsumoto / music: Tetsuji Hayashi).

In 1990, their 7th single “Gypsy” (lyrics: Tsutomu Uozumi / composer: Koji Umakaino) became a smash hit, selling 600,000 copies. Released 14 singles and 9 albums.

“Saturday on the way” (Live broadcast for 5 hours every Saturday / FM NACK5) Served as a personality for 5 and a half years since the station opened.

Moved to the United States to learn languages ​​and gain a wide range of exposure to music. After returning to Japan, he was moved by the piano tones played by Nobuyuki Tsujii and decided to sing again.

In 2016, he resumed his life as an artist focusing on live performances.

Celebrating the 35th anniversary in 2021, the anniversary album “Sing for you…” will be released. She is a mother of one child.
