Synopsis

Kusunoki Taiga (played by Matsumoto Jun) was born as the second son of Kusunoki Koutarou, a renowned actor representing Japan, and chose to follow in his father’s footsteps as an actor. However, his work as an actor is virtually non-existent, with most of his jobs being variety show appearances as a celebrity’s son. Since he was little, he has been called “Kusunoki Koutarou’s son” and mocked as “riding on his father’s coattails,” lamenting that his own identity has been continuously stripped away. His overly intellectual and argumentative nature also works against him, causing him to become overly concerned with trivial matters, such as how a woman holds her chopsticks, resulting in his relationships never lasting long.

One day, to blow off steam, Taiga enjoys his hobby of skydiving with his friend Keita, who is also a second-generation actor. Suddenly, his parachute malfunctions, and Taiga is carried far away from the drop point. He ends up getting caught in a large tree in a thicket near the sea, hanging in midair and unable to move! As he struggles helplessly, a beautiful woman (played by Takeuchi Yuko) happens to pass by…
