Synopsis

Konno Yuta is a former salaryman who worked at a major food manufacturing company. After a life-changing incident, he decides to quit his corporate job and re-enters medical school, becoming a resident doctor at age 37. He joins a university hospital with the passionate goal: “I want to become a full-fledged doctor as soon as possible!”

 

He inevitably faces the mysterious conventions that swirl through the university hospital system. Drawing from his corporate experience, he believes that “medical care is also a service industry” and strives to deliver the healthcare that patients truly need.

 

Through conflicts and empathy, struggles and joys, and even a love story, this drama follows a mature rookie doctor’s journey as he challenges the established medical system with his unique perspective from the business world.
