Synopsis

Set along the Shimanto River in Kochi Prefecture, known as “Japan’s last pristine stream,” this nostalgic yet fresh ensemble drama depicts seven young men and women struggling through their unchanging, ordinary daily lives while harboring vague dreams and anxieties about their futures. The cast features Maki Yoko as the heroine, alongside Ikuta Toma, Kiritani Kenta, Kashii Yu, Emoto Tasuku, Kimura Fumino, and Kuninaka Ryoko – a group of distinctive actors from the same generation. The series portrays the mundane everyday lives of young people in a realistic, life-sized manner – the kind of stories that are likely unfolding somewhere in Japan even today.
