Synopsis

One afternoon, Sawa (Ueto Aya) unconsciously shoplifts lipstick at the supermarket where she works part-time as a cashier on her way home. Rikako (Yoshise Michiko), who witnessed the entire incident, approaches Sawa with a proposal: in exchange for keeping quiet about the shoplifting, she wants Sawa’s cooperation in creating an alibi for her affair. Rikako is a “weekday afternoon wife” who coldly repeats affairs. To protect her “happiness,” Sawa complies with Rikako’s demands. During this process, Sawa meets high school teacher Kitano (Saito Takumi) and gradually finds herself unable to get him out of her mind, eventually crossing a line that should never be crossed.
