Synopsis

Kurashita Tsukimi is a 20-year-old aspiring illustrator with extremely poor eyesight who can barely see anything without her thick glasses. After moving from her hometown in Kagoshima Prefecture to Tokyo with dreams of becoming an illustrator, she doesn’t attend art school or actively promote her work. Instead, she lives in a rundown apartment with fellow “otaku girls” who call themselves the “Amars” (Nuns), completely avoiding outside contact while immersing themselves in their own eccentric, specialized interests.

Tsukimi herself is a devoted jellyfish otaku who loves these creatures more than anything else. Her obsession began during childhood when her beloved mother took her to an aquarium, where she first saw jellyfish and declared them “like princess dresses.” Her mother promised to create a “jellyfish-like wedding dress” for her someday. Tragically, her mother died shortly after, leaving young Tsukimi alone.

One fateful day, a jellyfish encounter leads Tsukimi to meet two completely opposite brothers. Despite her reluctance, Tsukimi gradually develops connections with these mismatched brothers. Like jellyfish drifting through water, she slowly discovers new aspects of herself and different ways of living. Against all expectations, she finds herself in an unprecedented love triangle with both brothers, experiencing romance for the first time when she thought love would never be part of her life.

The brothers’ influence begins extending to her long-abandoned dream of becoming an illustrator, setting her on a path toward personal growth and artistic fulfillment she never imagined possible.

A heartwarming story about self-discovery, unexpected love, and finding the courage to embrace change while honoring cherished memories.
