Synopsis

Amemura Shinsuke (Miura Haruma), a bartender at Bar Myoga in Nishi-Azabu, is attacked by a man one night and loses part of his memory. He gradually discovers that he had caused a traffic accident a year and a half earlier that killed a woman, and that the man who attacked him and subsequently committed suicide was the victim’s husband. When people around him repeatedly advise that “it’s better not to remember unpleasant things,” Shinsuke begins to question the true circumstances of the accident.

On a rainy night after returning to work at the bar, a woman in mourning clothes named Ruriko (Takahashi Mary Jun) appears at the establishment. She possesses an otherworldly beauty and an intense gaze that immediately draws Shinsuke into a profound labyrinth of mystery. His girlfriend Narumi (Matsumoto Marika) goes missing, while those around him, including his life mentor Ejima (Namase Katsuhisa) and the bar’s mama-san Chizuko (Horiuchi Keiko), become suspects in a web of deception where it’s unclear who is lying and who is plotting against whom.

Detective Kozuka (Kimura Yuichi) finds himself compulsively driven to investigate the darkness surrounding these events, while Ruriko boldly seduces and manipulates Shinsuke. The central mystery revolves around Ruriko’s true purpose as she plays psychological games with the guilt-ridden bartender, creating a noir atmosphere where memory, truth, and manipulation intertwine in dangerous ways.
