Synopsis

The manga “Boke Biyori,” based on an original concept by dementia specialist Hasegawa Yoshiya, is a comic essay that depicts the daily lives of dementia patients and their families through a warm, compassionate lens with a touch of humor.
The movie follows Torikai Chiharu, a woman with dementia who loves painting and never loses her innocent smile despite her condition, and her devoted husband, Torikai Michio, who continues to support her with unwavering kindness. Sakurai Sho joins the cast as Akutsu Kosuke, a dementia specialist who watches over the Torikai couple with warmth and compassion.
