Synopsis

Set against the atmospheric streets of Kyoto, this anthology drama portrays the quiet emotional struggles of a woman searching for meaning in seemingly ordinary lives.
 
Based on Wada Yurika’s viral essay “24-sai, Kareshi ni Furareta Hi no Nikki (Diary of the Day My Boyfriend Dumped Me at 24)”, the film consists of three interconnected stories. In each chapter, Shimada portrays the same woman living three entirely different lives across parallel worlds.
While each story unfolds as an independent narrative, the three parallel worlds subtly intersect, weaving together a poignant exploration of identity, heartbreak, resilience, and the choices that shape our lives.
